Easy Wipe™ is made of high stretch polyester jersey fabric with PU (polyurethane) coating. The total weight is between 120g/m2 and 300g/m2 or more. Easy Wipe™ eliminates the threat of micro-wrinkles that cause bedsores (decubitus) thanks to its polyurethane-coated, two-sided stretchable jersey fabric with a special finishing process. The fabric responds simultaneously to the movements of the patient lying on it and performs much better and more effectively than conventional substitutes on the market. As the name suggests, Easy Wipe™ is an easy wipe-clean product that acts as an excellent barrier to blood, infusion fluid and urine. Perhaps the most important properties of Easy Wipe™ are its breathability and vapor permeability (both natural properties of polyurethane). These properties prevent perspiration and moisture build-up. The mattress protector can be washed at least 100 times.
